When did you start making dolls? I started making Waldorf dolls in 1988 as my children where attending Steiner school in Montreal. I also offered workshops to other parents of the school. I have been a full time Doll designer since 2002.

I am a professional member of Conseil des Métiers d'art du Québec.

What type/style of dolls do you make? Cloth dolls for children: different size and style of cloth dolls stuffed with fleece and wearing original cloths

Needle felted OAK characters:characters and animals sculpted out of wool.

Clay OOAK art dolls:Sculpted head, hands and feet in polymer clay with a stuffed fabric body over a wire armature; with original costumes for each doll.

Needle sculpted OOAK dolls:needle sculpted cloth head and cloth body over a wire armature.

I hope my creations help people connect with their heart and soul. I am continuously in quest to becoming a better human being and my dolls express that quest. My dolls are about Magic, Wisdom, Kindness, Love, Humour and my belief that Beauty can heal. I would like my dolls to be what the story teller expresses in a good book. Each of them has a story to tell!
I am always exploring for new techniques and doll-making lets me use many talents I have developed over the years like basketry, papier-mâché, painting, etc.

I teach Doll making and Needle felting at The Montreal Center for Contemporary textiles and at my studio in Compton.
