When/why did you start making dolls? Since I was a teenager.

When did you begin making original one-of-a-kind dolls, and why? Haven’t really started yet

What type/style of dolls do you make? Mostly other people’s patterns: baby dolls, rag dolls, wardrobes for dolls. (Mostly for my family and gifts for friends)

What do you consider to be “special” about your dolls? Lots of hand-work and fine detail. I like using ribbon and lace.

What are your goals as a doll maker? To move from doing patterns created by others and to create my own original one-of-a-kind dolls.

Tell a little about yourself: Married 29 yrs. and mother of 5 children (ages 27 to 12 yrs. old, 4 girls, 1 boy). Our family runs a goat dairy farm. I have done many different crafts over the years. Love to sew, crochet, knit, cross-stitch, costumes, dolls & teddies, and currently do displays in the Christian bookstore I work in.
