Email: cindee.moyer@gmail.com When/why did you start making dolls? About 3 years ago, and I took a class with Akira Blount. Started making original cloth dolls after that. Have always loved dolls. When did you begin making original one-of-a-kind dolls, and why? Following that workshop with Akira, I found I really enjoyed making the dolls - each one a new creation. What type/style of dolls do you make? Soft sculpture faces with hands painted features. What media(s) do you use? Cloth What do you consider to be “special” about your dolls? Their painted faces and their costumes. What are your goals as a doll maker? to continue to improve the workmanship and to find my "style" so that it is recognizable as a a doll that I made. Tell a little about yourself: I collect other artists dolls that I admire - the quirkier the better. I like doll sculpture that could also be classified as fine art. Married, 3 children, 2 step children and 4 grandchildren.
