Woodworking has been in my family for at least 4 generations. Type/Style of Dolls: Carved wooden and peg-wooden style dolls now; hoping to explore more possibilities in articulated wooden dolls. Media Used: Yellow cedar, misc, other woods, some "exotic" woods. I also costume my dolls with fabric. I have done some pieces in Sculpey. Length of Time in Doll Making: I made my first wooden doll 20 years ago. But I've only "gotten serious" in the last year. Professional Credits: 30 year (ongoing!) career as animation artist, 16 years of it in Los Angeles. Layout for Warner Bros Television Anim, Universal Cartoon; Storyboard for Universal, cartoon, DIC, Disney TV, Nelvana.
